Each brand design project takes approximately one to six weeks based on your desired package. All time estimates are dependent upon the individual project, number/complexity of revisions, and client response timeliness. A detailed schedule with estimated milestones will be given to each client upon project start.
1. Consultation
Like any relationship, it all starts with our first meeting to ensure we are a good match. It starts with your 20-minute, no obligation, complimentary consult which can be set up by phone or Skype. We will ask you some questions regarding your business, vision, and goals for your brand development. Please ask any questions about the process. This step will give us both a chance to get to know each other and to make sure we are going to make an awesome team.
2. Booking
If we find that we are the great match, we will email you a formal proposal with timelines for our project together. If you approve, please sign, scan, and submit the proposal back to me and keep a copy for yourself. Also, your will need to submit your payment for our first segment to hold your spot on the Branded Ink Digital calendar at this time. Because we have reserved this time specifically for you, your deposit is not refundable.
3. Homework
To prepare for your new branding, we will send you a link to our client questionnaire so you can go through and answer some important questions to ensure we are on the same page prior to your project start date. The questionnaire will provide valuable information to us as we conduct client research and move through the branding process.
4. Inspire
It’s time to get started! The first step of the branding process is the creation of a mood/inspiration board. We will study your questionnaire and create a color palette along with style inspiration that will set the overall tone of your new brand. Within ten business days of your start date, you will receive your first deliverable and have a chance to review and request up to two rounds of revisions until you are in love with the direction.
5. Create & Refine
Once we have established and finalized your moodboard, the Branded Ink Digital team will get to work on creating your new brand specific website. If you desire a logo design, it is an a la cart service at an additional fee. Working with our dynamic team, a beautiful logo can be created in approximately ten business days. During this phase you will receive your second deliverable which will consist of several unique logo concepts designed based on the information given in the initial stages and your approved mood board. Once received, you will have the opportunity to review and request up to two rounds of revisions until your are totally satisfied about your new logo design.
6. Website Design
While we finish up your additional branding material and place the appropriate print orders, it’s now time to get started on your new website design. By this time, you will have completed your website questionnaire and be working on completing all of your content for each page. All site photography and content is due prior to website mockup completion and before we go to the development stages. All files will be shared by dropbox folder. During this step, the final mockup of the home page and all supplemental pages are completed and approved by you before moving onto the development phase. Any delays in content may delay your project and bump it back in the pipeline. If any changes are requested by client after mockup approval, they will billed separately.
7. Website Development
Once you have signed off on the design, Branded Ink Digital will begin to develop your site. There will be some downtime for you during this phase as we bring your design to life. At the end of this step, you will be delivered a live test site link developed and hosted on our server for your review and approval.
8. Launch
Once your site is complete, your new custom developed theme will be uploaded onto your server. We will also hold our one-hour tutorial at this time to show you how to make updates to your site from the backend. Once our final checklist is complete and all systems are a go, we will launch your new site to the world. You have just been “Inked.” (Please be sure to consider our Special Client monthly website maintenance plan – based on an annual contract.) Congratulations!
